This lawsuit was brought to the High Court of The Gambia by Gambia Participate, Abdoulie Aziz Gaye and the Centre for Research and Policy Development against the Mayor of Banjul, the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) and the Attorney General of The Gambia for the IEC authorizing the Mayor of Banjul to issue attestation letters to residents of Banjul for the purpose of registration to vote the upcoming December 2021 Presidential Election, and April 2022 National Assembly Election.
